( 4UMF NEWS ) Azealia Banks Says Russell Crowe Called Her N-Word:
Azealia Banks claimed Sunday that hothead actor Russell Crowe called her the “N-word” and spat on her before tossing her out of a party in his hotel suite.
Banks, 25, provided provided few details, only saying on her Facebook page that she was traumatized by the alleged late-night insult.
“To recap my night, I went to a part(y) at Russell crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n—-r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” she said. “Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The men in the room allowed it to happen.”
The post has been deleted. Another since-deleted post read: “I wish I had someone to beat him up for me.”
Russell Crowe reportedly removed the unruly Banks from the hotel room, then called security.
A publicist for Crowe, 52, could not be reached for comment. A screenshot of a tweet from Crowe’s account shows he posted a link to a video of Banks’ latest song, “The Big Big Beat.” That tweet has also been deleted.
According to gossip site TMZ, Banks went to a Beverly Hills dinner party Saturday with RZA, the Wu-Tang Clan rapper-turned-director who cast Banks in his musical drama, Coco. Witnesses told TMZ Banks laughed out loud at Crowe’s music selection and called him and at least one other guest “boring white men.”
When a guest told her to chill, she threatened to break a glass and cut the guests and watch them bleed, the website said.
TMZ said Crowe, who starred with RZA in “American Gangster,” removed her himself, and called hotel security.
Banks’ Twitter account was suspended earlier this year after she directed racist slurs at former One Direction member Zayn Malik and said the U.S. military would kill his family.
The Harlem-born Banks has also had an ongoing feud with fellow hip hop star Iggy Azalea and was nearly sued by Sarah Palin after she called on the “burliest blackest” men to “run a train” on the former Alaska governor.
Banks later apologized.
Crowe has had his own share of run-ins. In 2005, the “Gladiator” star pleaded guilty to charges that threw a phone and struck at a Manhattan hotel clerk.
