( 4UMF NEWS ) Beyoncé To Join Coldplay At Super Bowl 50:
Beyoncé will return to the Super Bowl, this time as a special guest of Coldplay, the British band that will headline the halftime show at the 50th annual football extravaganza in Santa Clara, Calif., on Feb. 7.
Entertainment Tonight reported late Thursdaythat Queen Bey will join Coldplay during their Super Bowl 50 show, and probably not as a coincidence. She’s already featured on their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, especially in the vocals on Hymn for the Weekend.
The news also was confirmed by the Associated Press.
If, as ET has reported, Bruno Mars also takes the stage with the band, that will mean this year’s Super Bowl will feature two acts who headlined in two previous two years — Beyoncé in 2014 and Mars in 2013. Katy Perry was the star of the 2015 halftime show.
