Cowboys And Rams Brawl During Joint Practice

( 4UMF NEWS ) Cowboys And Rams Brawl During Joint Practice:

Another day, another fight on the gridiron between two teams that were supposed to play nice.

Three separate fights erupted between the Rams and Cowboys in a joint practice on Tuesday, causing coaches to end practice early.

One of the uglier moments was captured by Pat Doney of the Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate. Several players threw punches and violently shoved members of the opposing team to the ground. The skirmish spilled dangerously close to fans in attendance.

A video captured by Dallas area reporter Joe Trahan shows Dez Bryant getting punched in the face during the fight after running in from the sideline.

The NFL sent a memo out just last week to all 32 teams warning about fighting in training camp. There have been several altercations between teams and even teammates during the preseason, most notably in New York when Jets quarterback Geno Smith was slugged by teammate-turned-Buffalo Bill IK Enemkpali. Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan said Tuesday he thinks Smith, who broke his jaw, will miss the team's first four regular season games.

Throughout the preseason, stars like Bryant and Cam Newton have been involved in some public scraps, while Washington and Houston also had to end a joint practice prematurely.
