( 4UMF NEWS ) DeSean Jackson’s LA Home Attacked By Gunmen:

The home of the NFL‘s DeSean Jackson was stormed this week by as many as five gunmen.

According to TMZ Sports, six people who were inside the home at the time of the attack managed to fight off the gunmen, and one person sustained minor injuries after being pistol-whipped.

Investigators have said that they believe the home invasion was gang-related, which does not help Jackson against rumors of his own gang affiliation. In an attempt to distance Jackson from the rumors of gang activity, his agent, Denise White, confirmed the home invasion but said that Jackson was not present.

“DeSean is currently in Virginia with the Redskins,” said White. “He had no knowledge of the incident until a phone call last evening. It’s a legal matter which is in the hands of law enforcement. We will wait for their full investigation.”

The Washington team’s coach, Jay Gruden, also took to Twitter to say, “He’ll get to the bottom of it, as will the police, and we’ll go from there.”

This is not the first time that Jackson has had to deal with uninvited guests. His South Philadelphia home was burglarized in 2014, and shortly afterward, he was released by the Eagles, supposedly because of his “continued association with reputed Los Angeles street gang members.”
