( 4UMF NEWS ) Diddy Will Avoid Charges Stemming From UCLA Incident:

Diddy recently avoided felony charges in his UCLA assault case after the L.A. County D.A. dropped it down to the L.A. City Attorney on a misdemeanor, and the music mogul is expected to avoid all charges. City Attorney spokesman Rob Wilcox told the Daily News that Diddy was granted an office hearing that will make a move to resolve the situation and clear Diddy of any charges.

Wilcox explained, "It's an informal proceeding that will determine if there are alternatives to filing charges - which could include restitution, anger management classes or community service."

Diddy's rep previously claimed that the Bad Boy CEO was "solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son" during an altercation with strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, which started after the music mogul was kicked out of a morning practice.

Diddy's high-profile lawyer Mark Geragos commented on the recent news, "We are pleased that once again, an independent prosecutor has reviewed all the so-called evidence and rejected filing any criminal charges involving Sean Combs."
