( 4UMF NEWS ) Father Posed As Daughter's Boyfriend To Get Nude Pics:

A perverse upstate New York father admitted in court that he posed as his teen daughter's texting boyfriend — in order to trick her into sending pornographic pictures of herself to him.

He then used the photos as leverage to begin sexually abusing the 14-year-old, according to federal court records obtained by the Syracuse Post-Standard.

The sinister 41-year-old, who lives in Ilion, Herkimer County, pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to 12 counts of enticing a child to produce child pornography and receiving and sending child porn, according to the report.

The man faces up to 250 years in prison for his crimes when he is sentenced later this year.

"It is very emotional," he told U.S. District Judge Brenda Sannes in court, sobbing, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard. "I'm giving away many years of my life."

The man — whose identity is not being published to protect his daughter — also faces sexual abuse charges in Herkimer County Court.

Using a fake name, the man set up accounts with Instagram, AOL and a texting service in 2013. He posed as a 16-year-old boy from Watertown and began chatting with his daughter, court records show.

The girl resisted his requests about sending nude photos — but eventually relented, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.

She later tried to break up.

"All you talk about is sex sex and more sex. Honestly that is not what a relationship is about," she wrote.

"Then I will send these to your dad and then I won't have to worry about anyone else having u," he responded, according to court papers.

After the girl broke up with her "boyfriend," the father claimed that the boy had committed suicide — but sent him the graphic images before he died.

The sexual abuse came to an end when the girl reported it to a school nurse, court records show.

Authorities later tracked down the girl's texting partner, discovering the texts had been sent from inside her own home, court records show.
