Stubblefied, 45, allegedly sexually assaulted a developmentally disabled woman in April 2015, NBC Bay Area reports. The woman was 31 years old, according to KTVU, San Francisco’s Fox affiliate, and the incident occured at Stubbefield’s home in Morgan Hill, California.

The woman was reportedly at Stubblefield’s home to interview for a babysitting job. Stubblefield had contacted the woman through a babysitter website.

Stubblefield’s bail has been set at $250,000. He is facing five felony counts in connection to the rape, McInerny told NBC.

Stubblefield played 10 seasons in the NFL with the Niners, Washington and Raiders.

In 2008, Stubblefield plead guilty to making false statements to federal prosecutors in relation to the BALCO performance-enhancing drugs scandal. He was the first NFL player charged with a crime in the BALCO investigation.
