( 4UMF NEWS ) Kindergarten Teacher Busted Drinking On The Job:
A Washington state kindergarten teacher accused of on-the-job drinking was fired after a student complained about her strange behavior.
Klara Bowman appeared to be “fairly intoxicated” while at work at Larchmont Elementary School in Tacoma on Feb. 19, according to school district officials.
The 32-year-old educator walked into a wall as she was escorted from the classroom, where an empty coffee mug was found reeking of booze, reports KIRO-TV.
Bowman, who was slapped with an alcohol-related warning in 2011, was lost her teaching position at Larchmont over the incident.
It was her “last chance at the school,” according to district official.
Bowman had worked at the school since 2008, the Tacoma News Tribune reported.
She does not face any criminal charges.
