Rachel Dolezal Unanimously Voted Off Police Oversight Commission

( 4UMF NEWS ) Rachel Dolezal Unanimously Voted Off Police Oversight Commission:

Serial liar Rachel Dolezal was unanimously voted out of her role leading Spokane’s police oversight commission Thursday, following an investigation that found a slew of misconduct and bullying under her watch, the group announced.

Her removal comes the same week Dolezal resigned from another local leadership role, at Spokane’s NAACP chapter, after her parents revealed last week their daughter is a white woman who has been passing herself off as black for years.

Thursday’s ouster comes from an investigation into the city’s independent Police Ombudsman Commission, which coincidentally coincided with the bombshell about Dolezal’s racial identity.

The investigation found that the group devolved into dysfunction after Dolezal took the reins of it. Following a whistleblower complaint about the group, city investigators found repeated instances of records tampering, overstepping of authority and “just plain mean” treatment of colleagues, records show.

One of the group’s commissioners, Kevin Berkompas, chose to resign Thursday.

Dolezal and Berkompas’ embarrassing exits come a day after Mayor David Condon asked both of them — plus another commissioner, Adrian Dominguez — to leave the group, the Spokesman-Review reported.

Dominguez is traveling this week and has until June 24 to decide if he’ll step down, before the city council votes on his fate in the commission, the group said.

The embattled Dolezal is still under a separate ethics investigation for possibly lying on her application for the post on the commission that she has now lost.

Dolezal’s latest debacle caps off a week filled with bizarre national media appearances by her and even more revelations about her string of lies and cover-ups. On the same day she resigned from the NAACP, court records revealed she sued her alma mater Howard University, a historically black college, in 2002 for allegedly denying her a teaching position and scholarship money because she was a pregnant white woman.

Meanwhile, her white parents in Montana exclusively provided the Daily News with baby photos of Dolezal to counter their estranged daughter’s claims they might not be her birth parents.

Dolezal has still not apologized for lying and told the “Today” show she still identifies as black.
