Stacey Dash Attacks Leonardo DiCaprio Over Climate Change

( 4UMF NEWS ) Stacey Dash Attacks Leonardo DiCaprio Over Climate Change:

Stacy Dash thinks that Leonardo DiCaprio is clueless about global warming. The actress was not feeling the love for the actor, who finally snagged an Oscar last month, mocking his speech in an essay she penned for her website on Thursday night.

“Leonardo DiCaprio, quit being Chicken Little—the sky is not falling,” she wrote.

While giving him his acting dues, the “Clueless” star said his acceptance remarks were “too much” and reminded her of how the Chicken Little character “ran around the neighborhood and disturbed everyone ‘with her foolish alarm.’”

The 49-year-old suggested the “The Revenant” actor should have fact-checked his comments or better yet get his “priorities straight.”

“There are people 10 miles from Leo starving, stuck on entitlement. Twenty first century NAZIS to deal with and North Koreans playing with nukes,” she wrote.

In the scathing and unexpected critique, the Fox News correspondent tried to disprove DiCaprio’s comments by citing articles which undercut the threat of global warming.

She added she would have saved the bashing but couldn’t because the cost of taking the environmental crisis serious is too expensive. Dash included figures that claimed stopping the “global warming epidemic” merited more money than “securing our borders.”

Weeks ago, the “Titanic” star used his long-awaited Academy Award moment to shine the spotlight on his favorite topic of climate change.

“I just want to say this. Making the Revenant was about Man’s relationship with the natural world,” said DiCaprio. “Climate change is real it’s happening right now. It’s the most urgent threat facing our entire species.”

Dash’s latest remarks come on the heels of her controversial stance on abolishing Black History Month and then blaming black people for keeping themselves “in their place.”

The conservative actress later mocked the ripped-apart comments during a brief and awkward appearance at the Oscars, in which she was sarcastically chosen the Academy Director of Diversity Outreach.

Naturally, DiCaprio has yet to respond to Dash’s viewpoint.
