( 4UMF NEWS ) Teens Arrested For Execution Style Murder:

Authorities in New Orleans arrested two teens on Friday for the alleged “execution-style murders” of a father and son only two days earlier, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand announced on Sunday.

Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshals captured Dexter Allen, 17, and Haraquon Degruy, 18, in a stolen SUV traced to the scene of the shotgun killings of Metairie area residents David Pence, 56, and Nicholas Pence, 25, late Wednesday, according to WVUE-TV.

Investigators believe that Allen shot the elder man three times and his son twice after entering the home through an unlocked door in an apparent robbery attempt gone awry, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported.

Degruy told authorities that her alleged male accomplice gunned them down as the pair attempted other car robberies in the peaceful residential area of the city that borders Lake Pontchartrain, according to WWL-TV.

First responders found the IT professional and his son, who works at a local hat store, dead in a side garage set up for sports and movie viewing that they called the “mancave," reports The New Orleans Advocate.

Friends of the son had been present moments before the incident and investigators can’t even say for sure that the elder Pence was awake when he got shot, according to the Advocate.

Allen faces two counts of first-degree murder and Degruy has been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact of murder and 1 count of vehicle burglary in connection with the incident, Normand said. But investigators are still piecing together the motive and circumstances surrounding the alleged double homicide, he noted.
