( 4UMF NEWS ) Woman Arrested For Spiking Co-Worker's Drink With Meth:

A former waitress at a Georgia Waffle House has been arrested after allegedly spiking her co-worker’s drink with a huge dose of meth.

Sonserea Evans is accused of putting the drug into the 37-year-old Brian Mikeals’ drink, which left him in a coma.

Emergency were called to the Waffle House on Highway 53 around midnight Dec. 23, following reports the man was having a medical emergency. Mikaels was rushed to hospital in serious condition and is still under medical care.

"At one point he was critical,” Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tony Wooten said, reported WSBTV.com. “At one point he was on a life support system, basically, he was being fed through a feeding tube and was in a comatose state, so at one point he was clinging to life."

Police later discovered CCTV footage showing a woman, believed to be Evans, taking Mikaels’ drink into the bathroom when he went outside.

“(The video footage) showed her taking the cup walking towards the bathroom area and then coming back with the cup while he was outside,” Wooten added.

Waffle House management gave the video to cops, who are holding it as evidence.

The woman in the video had her employment “immediately terminated,” Waffle House spokesman Pat Warner told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Evans, 43, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and aggravated battery.

Investigators have not yet discovered a motive.
