iTunes Review

When Atlanta creator (and Childish Gambino mastermind) Donald Glover shouted out Migos during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, he made public what many in the rap world already knew: Migos are bonafide stars. Culture tracks like “Bad and Boujee,” “T-Shirt,” “Brown Paper Bag,” and “What the Price” capture their unique style—contagious anthems marked with trap funk and start-stop and tripled-up flows. It’s a glorious victory lap from the reigning mouths of the South, complete with a Dab at the finish.

make it stop 😑

This is the dictionary definition of regurgitated. This song is literally "Panda" by Desiigner, but slowed down and tone-shifted. Now, "Panda" in my opinion was not a great song in the least, but it at least tried to do something a little bit original. Go give them both a listen and tell me the resemblance isn't a little bit too great to be considered coincidence.

I'm sick and tired of these trash "hip-hop/rap" songs taking over the charts. There's definitely good hip-hop/rap getting released, but none of it gets the attention that "Panda", "Broccoli", "Juju On That Beat", "Black Beatles", and now "Bad and Boujee" is getting. Lazy lyrics, lazy production, and horrible rapping. Go listen to someone who actually cares about the quality of music they put out, and doesn't get dated within a month.

Members Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff got together in 2009 under the name Polo Club, with the name Migos becoming official in 2010. In 2012, they released the mixtape No Label, which featured the cut "Bando," a regional hit that caught the attention of producer Zaytoven and...
