Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Moves To New Home

When Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, were spotted packing up their Encino, Calif., home earlier this week, several tabloids claimed the family of six was moving out of their rented mansion in an effort to downsize. But a source close to Spelling, 42, tells Us Weekly that this couldn’t be further from the truth. “Tori and Dean moved into a new house -- it's the same number of bedrooms and everything,” the source says. “They just moved because their lease was up, nothing more to it than that. It was not a downsizing thing.” The reality stars have talked about their financial struggles before, with the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress opening up on her Lifetime series, True Tori, last fall, saying, “We live paycheck to paycheck! After [True Tori] I have no f—king idea if work’s going to come in. Like, how am I going to support my family in six months?” Finances have long been a point of contention in the Spelling family. Tori’s producer father, Aaron Spelling, passed away in 2006 with a net worth of $600 million, and Tori claims her mother, Candy, has not passed along much of her inheritance. In a November interview with Access Hollywood, McDermott, 48, alleged that Candy was not offering any financial assistance to their family. Her rep responded to the accusations, saying, "Candy has provided financial help in the past and has offered repeatedly to pay for the children's private schooling and Tori has never told her where to send the money.” Source
